Grove estate was registered to William D. Wilmot in the almanacs 1817-1826 and to William T. Wilmot in the almanacs 1828-1829, the estate of William T. Wilmot in 1831. However, the number of enslaved people registered to the Wilmots in the slave registers is significantly less. For example, in 1826 William T.
