Land and a group of enslaved people owned by James Gabriel Mullings from at least 1817 to 1820. Most of the enslaved people were inherited by Dorothy Bennett by 1823 but it's not clear if she also inherited the land. The enslaved people were registered in a group which included those she owned on Montrose estate. The over all ownership of Montrose estate has not been disentangled yet; there appear
