Sponsor/Observer Note: Emancipated in 1830 by Widow Hawkins living on Lake Providence in the state, lost his certificate of freedom and obtained new papers from the said [Lusly?] in 1838 recommended by Honore Faure and Simion Mond both Creoles in the city. Examined by Paul Becton Recorder
