Charles Shephard, from John Byres' 1776 Plan, showed Belmont as an extant estate against each of Lots No. 28 (95 acres, originally purchased by St Lawrence), No. 41 (39 acres, purchased by Coram), No. 81 (80 acres, purchased by Wilmot) and (as Belmont and Golden Vale) Lot No. 144 (471 acres, purchased by Byers). In addition, Belmont was shown among the lots leased to French settlers, against Lot N
