Not traced to date in the slave registers or compensation records. In 1824, John M'Lean jun. said that he had on Jan 1st 1816 moved [from Lusignan] to Pln Washington, a cotton estate with 306 negroes [Alexander McDonnell <em>Considerations on Negro Slavery</em> (London, 1824) p. 155].
