This location references land on the Riché estate in the 1790s. Louis Riché, aka Jean Louis Riché (1744-?), was the brother of Frederick Riché, uncle of Martin Bourgeat, and sister of the Widow Bourgeat (Marie Margarite Riche). Two non-contiguous plots were found on the historical plat maps for Louis Riche, referenced by the OB numbers 131 and OB 132. The OB 131 plot is confirmed in the American S
tate Papers as being owned by Louis Riche as early as 1791.
