Ashley Hall
A sugar estate in Trelawney, Jamaica, owned by John Cowper and William Miller in 1817. Miller sold his share to John Cowper and the estate was repossessed by John L. Walcott, the mortgagee, after the death of Cowper c. 1822. Note that a group of enslaved people on this estate were under different ownership, belonging to John L. Walcott in right of his wife.
