Benjamin William Arnett
Free before 13th Amendment. A teacher and then an AME preacher and elder who became general secretary in 1880 among other roles and a bishop in 1888. Also the chaplain to the Ohio legislature in 1879 and in 1886 was elected to the legislature representing the predominately white Greene County.
