Langley Estate (including Boyne Park Pen, formerly Shoreditches)
Langley estate was surveyed by Smellie and Sheriff in 1780. Their plan showed an animal and a water mill, this layout was confirmed in James Robertson's map of 1804. Water for the mill came from the head of the Negro River which flowed 2 miles to the north, it also passed through Trinity Estate. The boiling house was far from the water mill at Langley, Higman suggests this indicated it might not h
