Owned by William Turnbull from at least 1810 to 1817 and then bought by John Waters. It's not clear if the enslaved people were kept on this estate or moved to Castlemine, which had been bought by Waters c. 1825. Montmorency does not appear in the almanacs after 1823 but the enslaved people remained in the ownership of Waters after that.
